While both share features like Modbus RTU communication, internal desiccant with a 10-year lifespan, and SmartExplorer software support, the SMP22X improves performance with a better temperature stability (±0.3% vs ±0.5%), and directional response errors. These improvements make it more suitable for demanding applications like scientific research and SCADA systems.
